A new era begins: Kreuzmayr Bayern becomes EMOVA
An established name in the German energy market presents itself with a new name and expanded focus from February: EMOVA. The former Kreuzmayr Bayern from Garching near Munich, a subsidiary of the DS-Group, is now operating under the name EMOVA. EMOVA stands for energy supply, mobility and security of supply, and in future will also focus on renewable and green energy.
EMOVA offers its private and business customers a wide range of energy products and services: The sales network of EMOVA and its subsidiaries Bischoff & Vielhauer and Hauer for heating oil, pellets, fuels and lubricants covers almost the whole of Germany. EMOVA operates the Deltin petrol station network in Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia.
For EMOVA's fuel and lubricant customers, the pooling of expertise not only means a new name, but also an even higher level of supply security in a volatile market that is strongly characterised by external influences, as current global events have shown over the past three years. Nevertheless, even in difficult times, our customers have always benefited from the size of the Group and the large number of supply locations, even when smaller suppliers have experienced supply bottlenecks. This will now improve even further for our customers, although the familiar contacts and contact addresses will remain the same.
EMOVA spokesman Simon Reiter
For customers, the change of name not only means a new name, but also greater security of supply in a volatile market environment. Despite the changes, the familiar contacts and contact addresses will remain the same.
In future, EMOVA and its subsidiaries will also offer renewable energies and actively participate in the energy transition. Photovoltaic, rooftop and large-scale systems, charging parks with hyperchargers and the company's own hydrogen refuelling stations are to be set up. The first charging stations are already in place at some Deltin petrol stations, which are powered by solar electricity generated on site.

The change of name from Kreuzmayr Bayern to EMOVA marks the beginning of a new era for the DS Group's end customer business. By bundling various competences and resources within our organisation, we are able to offer our customers a broader range of solutions and thus provide them with a simpler and more efficient shopping experience.
